Industrial power plants can solely produce steam or both electricity and heat in case of a cogeneration plant. Even small combined cycle plants CCGT making the best efficient use of the fuel are used to energize energy demanding industrial sites.
KROHNE offers a broad range of instrumentation and systems starting from the fuel supply until the measurement of the steam flow to its consumers. The fuel can be in gaseous form like natural gas, gas from the production process or hydrogen but also liquids like light fuel oil or liquid hydrocarbons. A number of certified instruments compliant to the measuring instruments directive MID are available to meet today’s requirement under the EED and EU-ETS directives.
